All items currently listed were packed prior to 2020.

We are all taking extra precautions this holiday season due to increasing contagion-risk; that of course includes concern regarding ‘fomites’ (viral contamination of surfaces) which current CDC guidelines▢➚ say is upwards of 7 days.

Likely unique amongst sellers of antique & vintage goods, I for years have pre-packed all items prior to making them available for purchase.

A bit of background: I have long shipped all merchandise double-boxed. And early on I found it convenient to pack the item into its ‘inner box’ at the time that it was photographed; since, 1) No chance that an item might pick up so much as a tiny scratch between being listed and being sold; and 2) Quicker to ship, just place the already-boxed item into a second ‘outer box’, add some cushioning material and it’s ready to go. I certainly never foresaw 2020, but,

‘Pre-pack prior to listing’ means that your item arrives untouched by human hands — untouched for weeks or (sometimes many) months.

All items currently listed were (inner box) packed prior to 2020. For newly listed items going forward, on each listing page will be included the pack-date, formatted as YYYY.MM.DD — for example, today is 2024.04.26
