Just gorgeous antique Remington Rand Model 5 Streamline, with original case and cleaning brush. “REMINGTON 5” in a vintage Art Deco typeface above the platen. Serial number V928134 dates its production as July 1937, that from TWDB’s index of Model 5 Streamline
Typewriter is non-functional due to its broken carriage drawband/cord, which can be seen in one of the photos (also note that to give you a better look inside, some of the included photos were taken with the top cover removed). One of the ribbon spools is missing its top-flange. The case is missing its key.
Typewriter measures about 12.5 x 12.5 x 5 inches and weighs 16 lbs. The case is about 14 square x 6.5 inches and weighs 4 lbs. Non-functional and for display purposes; in as-found condition and sold AS-IS.
