So pretty, this hand-painted antique porcelain Noritake sugar bowl and creamer. Overall color is yellow, with beautifully and delicately painted flowers in violet, light blue, dark blue, turquoise, light green, red, light orange, and dark orange. Handles are orange and black, insides are white.
Its “green Noritake M in Wreath, Made in Japan” backstamp dates this sugar bowl and creamer to 1921-1924 Art Deco Period production.
SPECS: Sugar bowl 3.6" diameter, 3.25" tall to top-of-finial, 5.2" handle-to-handle, weight 6.2 oz. Creamer 2.6" tall and 4.25" handle-to-spout, weight 3.2 oz. In very good condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, some wear, particularly in the back paint on the rim of the sugar bowl.
