“End of the Trail”, after the James Earle Fraser 1915 life-size sculpture of a sorrowful Native American Indian on horseback, made circa 1925, most likely by the Armor Bronze Co, though they are not marked as such. A pair of vintage electroformed bronze-clad figural book ends, with beautiful dark patina.
SPECS: Measures about 6.4" tall, base is about 4.1" by 2.2", the pair weighs in at 3 lbs 15 oz. In good condition, tiny 2mm dia. cladding "miss" on one of the pair, where one of the back hooves touches down, cladding intact otherwise.
